the Drama Club !!!!
The Drama Club meets for 10 weeks
with Miss Germaine and Mr. D and is sponsored by the SHMA-FTA.
Thursdays 3:30 - 5:00 in the Media Center.
Starting September 4, 2009.
Performance is November 12, 2009.
$50.00 per child will include dinner and show.
(Costume fee may be required.)
If you are interested in joining, please fill out the sign-up form and return
with a check made out to SHMA-FTA to the FTA mailbox in the front office.
Gymnastics

Who: All students 3 years and up
Time: Half-day students: 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM
Primary 12:30 PM - 1:15 PM or 2:45 PM - 3:30 PM
Lower/Upper Elementary 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM
Cost: $96.00
Classes will be billed in 8-week sessions. Since gymnastics is a progressive sport, once you have secured a space in class, it is yours for the entire school year. If your child no longer wishes to continue, please let the office know, so we can remove him/her from our role. Classes meet every Thursday.
A CHANCE TO DANCE With Kenley Stewart at
Safety Harbor Montessori Academy
Dear Parents:
It's time to enroll your child in Pre-Ballet, Ballet and Tap classes taught by Kenley Stewart. All classes are professionally taught on school grounds and are available to children as young as two years of age.
In addition to being the mother of two Safety Harbor Montessori Academy students, Kenley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and has an extensive resume including serving as principle dancer for the Philadelphia Opera Company. She has also danced with companies such as: Alvin Ailey, The Pennsylvania Ballet, American Ballet Theater, The Judith Jamison Project, Le Vaughn Robinson, The Martha Graham School and The Jose Limon Company. She is also a member of the National Dance Educators Organization, The International Association for Dance Medicine and Science, and a National Dance Week Delegate.
These many years of experience allow Kenley to provide the new dancer a superb foundation and the more advanced dancer a level of technical expertise not readily available outside of major metropolitan areas. Each class is a fun, high-energy dance experience that builds strength, self-confidence and poise. In addition to proper technique, all students will gain a sense of musicality, an appreciation of fine are and learn the proper Ballet (French) and Tap terminology.

Tuition is $92 per 8 class session, payable to Safety Harbor Montessori Academy. All classes follow the school calendar and no credits for absence will be given. Families of students enrolling in multiple classes will receive a 10% discount on the second class of equal or lesser value. Perfect body alignment is essential to prevent future joint, back and foot problems. In order to help me see the precise position of a dancer's body, I require that all students be dressed properly for class.
