Amazing Child

Montessori Way

Tomorrow's Child

While Safety Harbor Montessori Academy does not have a competitive admissions policy, we do want to make certain that each child who attends our school will have every opportunity for success.

School Tour
After receiving our information brochure, please call our Admissions Director, Carol Wooldridge, to arrange a tour of the school. During this time you will learn about our school, and we will answer any questions you may have about our program.

Application & Fee
By returning your application and application fee, you will begin the enrollment process. If there is not a space available at that time, your child's name will be placed on the waiting list. Download our forms here:

Waiting List
You will be notified when a space opens for your child. If you wish to remove your child from the list please notify us. Your deposit will be refunded, provided we have not contacted you about an open space for your child.

Elementary & Middle School Procedure

Teacher Recommendation Forms
As soon as we receive your child's application, we will mail you a teacher recommendation form. Please have this form filled out by your child's current teacher. Return this form to Safety Harbor Montessori Academy along with your child's most recent progress reports and any standardized test scores he/she has received. Your child may be required to take an achievement test if we do not receive standardized test scores.

Student Visit
Once the teacher recommendation forms, progress reports, and standardized test scores are received, we will set up two days for your child to visit the classroom. The times vary according to grade.

Lower Elementary (1st through 3rd grade)
Classroom visits will begin at 8:45 AM and end at 3:15 PM.

Upper Elementary (4th through 6th grade)
Classroom visits will begin at 8:45 AM and end at 3:30 PM.

Middle School (7th & 8th grade)
Classroom visits will begin at 8:45 AM and end at 3:45 PM.

For any questions you may have about the admissions procedure, please contact Carol Wooldridge at (727) 724-1767.
