Alex Blumencranz was born in New Jersey and grew up in the Clearwater area. After completing a B.A. in Psychology from Lafayette College in 1996, she returned to Florida and pursued a Certification in Parent Coaching from Seattle Pacific University and the Parent Coaching Institute in Seattle, Washington. Alex has continued her education and is currently completing a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University in Tampa. She strongly believes in looking at the child as a whole within the context of its environment and family and how these interactions stimulate and nurture growth. Alex is married and has two sons who currently attend SHMA.
